Working Warehouse Fire in Blakeslee

Tanker 2233 and Ladder 2222 responded to a multi-alarm structure fire on Commercial Boulevard, Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County. Volunteers assisted with roof access and provided handlines off the tip of Ladder 2222 to assist with extinguishment. Tanker 2233 remained with the ladder to provide water for the operations. Both units operated for approximately seven hours. Additional volunteers staffed the station throughout the day for any additional incidents in the area. Multiple agencies from Monroe, Carbon, Luzerne, Northampton, Wayne, and Lackawanna Counties also responded.
