It has been a busy week for our volunteers who just answered their fourth call of the day and the fourteenth call within the last seven days. A total of fifty-two volunteers have responded in Engine 2210, Engine 2216, Rescue 2255, and Command 2277 to fire alarms on Nosirrah Road, Tennyson Circle, Honeysuckle Drive, and a motor vehicle accident on Route 903. District 12 and Lehighton ALS also have responded to today’s incidents.
We are very proud to introduce Ladder 22 to the community. It is a 1992 Pierce Arrow 105’ Aerial that will be used to better serve the residents of Penn Forest Township and the surrounding municipalities. Ladder 22 is the first aerial of the township and will be used to see the need of the apparatus throughout the growing community over the next few years. Please stay tuned for updates including lettering, training, and in service date!Quick FactsWater Tank – 300 GallonsFoam Tank&nbs...

Units arrived behind Ladder 1721 and assisted with ventilation. Engine 2216, Command 2277, Districts 16, 17, 12, and Lake Harmony EMS also responded.

Also included in these upgrades is the new outdoor pavilion, which houses the new custom tiki-bar providing frozen drinks, and will soon be a three-season area with roll up shades and stand up heaters. However, with these types of im...
Engine 2210, Engine 2216, and Rescue 2255 responded to a reported grill fire on Lakeview Drive, Lake Harmony. Districts 16, 17, Lake Harmony EMS, and Tanker 1231 also responded. Shortly after dispatch, units were requested for an EMS assist on Mohegan Circle. All units redirected to the EMS assist after being cancelled to the grill fire.
Even after a working fire, volunteers are training hard at an acquired structure. We are very thankful that someone reached out about donating a residence for us to use for training over the next couple of months. It’s not everyday that we get access to a building to actually train with. Tonight members are going over hose management, VES, ventilation, and much more. We are also fortunate to have a prop donated for use that simulates fire and smoke which reacts to water being applied. Memb...
