Command 2277 with UTV 2278, Utility 2279 with UTV 2276, Rescue 2255, and Engine 2210 with seventeen volunteers responded to a search off the Lehigh River. Carbon County 911 was able to get the callers plot within a few meters making it easy for crews to locate them. Units originally tried to make access to the lost individuals off of Forest Lake Drive but were unable to make contact due to the rough terrain. Command officers then decided that the best access would be off Greystones Jeras Road. After being on property for approximately forty-five minutes, volunteers made contact with the patients via UTV 2278 and began to bring the crews and lost individuals out. Units were in operation for just over three hours by the end. District 12, Lehighton ALS, and Chief 1601 also responded.
