Five Responses in Twelve Hours Include Working Fire & Pin
Sat. Jun 27th 2020

Engine 2210, Tanker 2236, and Rescue 2255 with seventeen volunteers responded to a working dwelling fire on Sweet Briar Lane. Engine 2210 arrived after Engine 1211 and assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. District 12 and Lehighton ALS also responded. Units were on-scene for just over thirty minutes when they were notified about a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Old Stage Road. Rescue 2255 responded from the fire scene and requested District 16 for assistance due to the extended ETA. Rescue 2255 confirmed the entrapment and extricated the patient within five minutes of arrival. Lehighton ALS also responded to the motor vehicle accident.

Engine 2210, Rescue 2255, and Tanker 2236 with twenty-one volunteers responded to a possible gas leak on Postal Court, Valley Views Estates. As units were clearing the first incident, a fire alarm was then dispatched and handled on White Oak Lane, Hickory Run Forest. Then as units were clearing the second incident, our Fire Police officers were requested to assist District 12 with a motor vehicle accident on Route 903. District 12 and Lehighton ALS also responded to the incidents. All of the incidents were within twelve hours and we are now over 100 calls for service for 2020.
