Tanker 1236 and Rescue 1255 responded to a reported dwelling fire on Stoney Mountain Road. Units from Carbon Districts 16 & 17, Monroe Stations 35 & 42, and Station #1 also responded. This was the first official run for our new rescue!

We are proud to announce that we received our new rescue made by Spartan ERV tonight! Firefighters hope to have it in service in a couple of weeks! Stay tuned for more photos!

This week, the chief, deputy chief, and lieutenant, flew down to Ocala, Florida for the final inspection of our new rescue being made by Spartan ERV. The officers reviewed the truck and corrected any issues before the delivery in mid-October.

1255, 1279, and 1236 responded to two calls in the township. Units were originally dispatched to a vehicle fire on Maury Road. While responding, units were redirected to a motorcycle accident on Route 903.

1255 responded to a tree on wires on Route 534. Route 534 remained partially closed by our fire police until the utility company fixed the low hanging wires. 1255 also responded to a motor vehicle accident on Petrarch Trail.

1255, 1236, and 1279 responded to a possible dwelling fire on Mansi Drive. Firefighters investigated and found a faulty sump-pump overheated causing the reported burning odor. Units from Station #1 also responded.

1255 responded to a deck collapse on Towamensing Trail. Chief 1208 arrived and found numerous injuries and three patients entrapped. With the help from surrounding resources, patients were safely removed from underneath the deck.
