Rescue 1255 and Utility 1279 responded to a motor vehicle accident with heavy entrapment on Route 903. After a near 45 minute extrication, the patient was transported by Lehighton ALS. Station #1 and District 16 also responded.
It was a busy weekend for the volunteers of Penn Forest Fire Company #2. From Friday night to Sunday, crews responded to 7 incidents including a smoke investigation, two fire alarms, a dwelling fire contained to a chimney, a pumping detail, establishing a LZ, and a possible brush fire.
Rescue 1255 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 903. Units arrived and found no patient with the vehicle. After checking the surrounding area, Rescue 1255 made contact with the patient who was transported by Lehighton ALS.
Engine 1216, Tanker 1236, and Utility 1279 responded to a multiple alarm structure fire at the Blakeslee Inn, Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County. Multiple other departments from Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, and Monroe Counties are also responded.

Rescue 1255, Engine 1216, and Utility 1279 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Stoney Mountain Road. Tonight, volunteers also participated in a walk through at Penn's Peak to familiarize themselves with the facility.
Engine 1216 responded to a dwelling fire on Sassafras Road. Units arrived and found a light smoke condition throughout the residence. After a quick investigation, the crew found the fire contained to a garbage can in a bathroom.

Rescue 1255 and Utility 1279 responded to a search and rescue off Lipo Way. After hiking through the rocky woods for a near hour, firefighters made contact with the lost hunter and were able to safely walk him out to be treated by Lehighton ALS.
