Seven volunteers completed a 16 hour Structure Burn Session held in Whitehall Township earlier today. The crew took Engine 1210 which was used as a suppression engine for the evolutions. Several firefighters from throughout Carbon and surrounding counties were also in attendance.

Utility 1279, Rescue 1255, and Engine 1210 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Maury Road. Station #1 and Lehighton ALS also responded. While returning, Engine 1210 assisted a snapping turtle, who was in the middle of the road, with crossing Route 534.

Engine 1210 and Command 1277 responded to trees and wires down on both North Shore Drive and Mansi Drive in Indian Mountain Lakes. Station #1 handled a tree and wires down on Drakes Creek Road. Volunteers also stood-by at the station with Rescue 1255 and remaining apparatus for any further calls.
