Engine 2216, Engine 2210, and Tanker 2236 responded to a reported trash fire on Bear Creek Drive. Engine 2216 found a controlled burn in the area upon arrival. The other units checked the area for any other fires.

Utility 2279, Tanker 2236, Engine 2210, and Engine 2216 responded to a brush fire on Patten Circle, Valley View Estates. Utility 2279 arrived to find a working brush fire that was extending into the residence with a burn victim outside.
Engine 2210, Tanker 2236, and Rescue 2255 responded to a dwelling fire on Stone Ridge Road, Stone Ridge Estates. Engine 2210 found smoke showing from the chimney upon arrival. The volunteers found a small fire contained to the chimney after further investigation.
Three volunteers completed the First Responder Emergency Extrication program made possible by the National Auto Body Council earlier today. Firefighters traveled to J.L. Freed Honda to learn the challenges of extrications involving newer model vehicles taught by Municipal Emergency Services.

Engine 1210 (2210), Rescue 1255 (2255), Tanker 1236 (2236), and Command 1277 (2277) responded to a vehicle fire on Stony Mountain Road. Lieutenant 1209 (2205) arrived to find a small fire in the engine compartment which was extinguished with a fire extinguisher.
