Earlier in the evening, volunteers went over vehicle fire evolutions with newer members with Engine 2210 and Tanker 2236. Volunteers take advantage of vehicles donated by the public by performing extrication techniques and then later reviewing vehicle fires.

Volunteers were invited by the Palmerton Fire Department for some vehicle rescue training in the evening. Crews from Engine 2210 and Command 2277 removed the roof from the vehicle on its side and later performed a dash roll on the vehicle when it was placed back on its wheels.

Special AssistWhile the volunteers were cleaning up from the busy Chicken BBQ, an individual stopped by the station who needed some assistance. After taking a ride to Tamarack Terrace, they met Zazu who decided to fly to a tree above, but did not have the confidence to come back down on his own.
