Engine 2210 responded to a tree on wire fire on Woodland Road, Indian Mountain Lakes. District 12 also responded.Rescue 2255 and Command 2277 with UTV 2278 operated on a search in the Hickory Run State Park for a near three hours.
Rescue 2255 and Command 2277 responded to an EMS assist on Wylie Circle, Towamensing Trails. Lehighton ALS and Lake Harmony EMS also responded. Volunteers were also dispatched to a fire alarm on Hugo Drive moments prior in Towamensing Trails.
Volunteers participated in the tree lighting hosted by the Penn Forest Township Recreational Park with Engine 2210 and District 12 earlier in the evening. Engine 2210 also handled a trash fire on Route 903 during the event.

Engine 2210 with five volunteers operated on a move up assignment in Palmerton Borough as units were handling a working fire in Northampton County. Additional personnel also remained at station for any additional calls.

Our volunteers arrived back at the station around 2 AM after being at the incident since 7 AM. A quick running of numbers indicate that our personnel had a minimum of 100 manpower hours dedicated to this incident throughout their duration.
Congratulations to firefighter Michael Ferran for successfully completing the Essentials of Firefighting program. The Essentials of Firefighting is a 168 hour course that teaches the basics of firefighting.
Four volunteers completed a sixteen hour Advanced RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) Course hosted by the Nancy Run Fire Company. Multiple departments from Northampton and Lehigh counties also participated. Two additional members completed a structure burn session hosted in Monroe County as well.
