Engine 2210, Tanker 2233, Ladder 2222, and Command 2277, with twenty volunteers, responded to a working dwelling fire on Brook Road, Polk Township. Monroe County Stations 35, 43, St. Luke’s EMS, West End EMS, Pocono Mountain Regional EMS, and Lehighton Ambulance also responded.
Another busy Sunday for our volunteers. Rescue 2255 and Engine 2210 handled motor vehicle accidents on Yellow Run Road and Penn Forest Trail. Units also handled a fire alarm from the second MVA on Stephenson Way, Towamensing Trails.
Engine 2210 and Ladder 2222 assisted Lehighton ALS on Sunrise Drive. Earlier in the day, Tanker 2233 and Rescue 2255 responded to a fire alarm on Sioux Circle. District 12 also responded to both incidents.
Rescue 2255 and Command 2277 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 534. No injuries were found upon arrival. A total of seventeen volunteers responded. District 12 and Lehighton ALS also responded.

Rescue 2255, Engine 2210, Tanker 2233, and Utility 2279 with twenty-three volunteers responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment and fire on Route 903. Units remained on-scene for approximately five hours to assist with road closure and scene lighting.

We are proud to announce that Engine 2216 will be donated and delivered to the Mayfield-Graves Fire Rescue in Kentucky. In January of 2015, our KME (Engine 1215) was involved in an accident which led to it having to be replaced.
