Rescue 1255 responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Route 534. After a quick door pop, patient care was transferred to Lehighton ALS.
Sun. Apr 9th 2017
Engine 1210, Tanker 1236, and Utility 1279 responded to a dwelling fire on Placid Lane, Kidder Township. Districts 16 and 17 were originally dispatched to a fire alarm and found smoke coming from the residence upon arrival requiring additional resources. Lake Harmony EMS also responded.

Engine 1210 responded to a CO incident on Wilde Glen. Units found a CO presence throughout the residence and then vented it clear. Station #1 and Lehighton ALS also responded. Rescue 1255 and Engine 1210 also responded to Route 903 in the area of Old Stage Road to remove debris in the roadway.

Busy day for volunteers as five calls were answered throughout the day. Rescue 1255 and Utility 1279 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 534. Units also handled a fire alarm on Gower Road shortly after arriving at the accident.

INFORMATION ON BURN BANS:  Please call the Carbon County Communications Center @ (570) 325-9111 BEFORE burning to verify whether there is an active burn ban.  Be sure to monitor the burn site and have a reliable water source nearby.
